The novelty of a fandom is definitely wonderful except for the fact that it's a bit time-consuming. Especially when it triggers your interest in something else.
Thanks to The Avengers and Jeremy Renner in particular now I'm not only an Avengers fan but also am back to my early January self - a bit obsessed with Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

And you'll ask yourself
Where is my mind?
Way out in the water
See it swimmin'

Yep, it pretty much summaries the situation ))) Not to mention the fact that I have to find time for taking an exam and I can't even make myself to e-mail the professor.

Long time no see :)
Since the last time I've been here:
- plus one married friend
- plus two (or maybe three) new fandoms
- minus one and a half job
- minus my good old mobile but
- plus a new one mobile which seems to have potential to become just as good friend of mine as my RAZR V3 was *gg*
It kind of summaries the most important things, it seems :)

I've finally moved to our house in the country. I'm just not physically capable of living in the city (and in my case it is the very center of the city) in summer. Fresh air and less heat definitely make up for having to wake up 1,5 hours earlier than usual. In fact, it's not a big deal - it means that I have to wake up at 7:30 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. (yep, the perks of working near home *gg*)

So here it is - my home for the next 3-4 months:

I can't draw. When Mom took me to the art school, they told her she'd better send me not to the drawing class but to the study of art one. So I finished art history and study of art class. Of course, it was great because our art school was under one of the best galleries in the country, so we were able to learn often looking at the originals of the paintings we were told about. But I still couldn't draw. We had several drawing lessons and they all were pretty disastrous for me. But now when I look at some fanart I envy people who can draw. I know, I can dance, I'm gifted of easy learning languages, I have a good ear for music and sense of rythm. But I still sometimes wish to have a talent for drawing.
Right now I'm drawing like this:

First years coming to Hogwarts :) I drew it at the age of 21, so you can see that me and drawing aren't meant to be together *gg*

I've been always considered weird because of it, but I'm SO not a fan of this holiday.
I was going to a school with the advanced study of English language, so we had several disciplines which were taught in English (damn, thanks to the History of thу USA I still can remember the details of the battle of the Alamo - after almost 10 years I still remember!) and, yep, celebrating holidays of different English-speaking countries. I hated Halloween so much... I had to think of a costume and it is just not my thing - even at 13 I was way too serious for my age and totally too serious to wear a costume *gg* Then we had to stage some theme-related sketches (once I played the devil, heh *gg*) And so on and so on. I was always so frustrated with all this.
Halloween and our annual basketball tournament were two worst thing in my school life.

People who don't know my mother country and who knows me only as an English-speaking person usually think that I'm from Germany or from Denmark. It's been happening so often that I begin to wonder why. I can understand why Germany. But Denmark? Do I give off special Danish vibes?!

What song are you currently addicted to?
Santana feat. Chad Kroeger - Into the Night

What's your favourite season?
I like both autumn and winter, but if I have to choose only one it'd be winter, really snowy cold winter.

What's the latest movie you watched?
I rewatched Music & Lyrics with Hugh Grant yesterday. If we are speaking about watching some new for me movie... I don't remember. Hm, I could say Robin Hood (2010) but I slept through almost the whole movie, so it doesn't count.

What is the one skill you wish you had?
Drawing. I can't draw to save my life :(

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Speaking about my activity in fandom it's still HP, speaking about watching/reading/etc - SPN.

What's your favourite musical instrument?
The violin.

What websites do you always visit when you go online?
LJ, DW, my mail, some sports related ones to read news.

What was the last thing you bought?
Besides yesterday groceries? Grocieries. Damn, all I can remember buying is food! Ha, I think the last thing besides food was a new toothbrush.

If you win 10,000 bucks today, what would you do with it?
Probably buy a car.

Last concert?
I'm not really a concert person. The last time was four years ago and it was my ex's band.

What could be one of the best things to happen to you right now?
Hm, winning the said $ 10,000 wouldn't be bad )))

What's your favourite food?
Pasta. Any fruits. Cabbage (any kind of it).

Do you want to learn another language?
Another like something else besides my native Russian and English, Spanish and Polish? )) Actually yes, I want to learn another language - I want to learn Swedish.

Five things you can't live without
I don't think that family and friends can be called "things" I can't live without (although I really can't live without them)
1. food (it's not the point of surviving - food is one of the best things in life )))
2. sports
3. books
4. long walks
5. music

I'm 5' 7'' (170 cm) and at school I was of average height. And I was used to thinking about my height as of an average one. Both my best female friends from school have an inch or two over me. But then I entered University and almost everybody - both professors and fellow students - were shorter then me. They were speaking about me as a tall girl. I never assumed myself tall. The only time I was called tall before was by my coach when he saw me several years after I stopped being a professional gymnast. But for gymnastics everything above 5' - 5' 1'' is tall! Then all my friends whom I met after school turned out to be also shorter then me. And now I'm thinking - am I tall? And if I am than what, our school is just a bunch of tall people gathered at one place to study?

Most of my friends and acquaintances, especially the ones who have spent a night at my place or lived with me even for a couple of days, know that I'm absolutely not a morning person. Like not-even-try-to-speak-to-me-before-midday not morning person *gg* Today while reading some fics, I ran across a great detail in one of them - a mug with Zombie in the morning written on it (it was in Just Us by freakn_out) It is SO about me :-D
