I'm so thankful to
jaaaarne for telling me about it and for inspiring me to participate. I've known from the beginning that I wouldn't be able to write 50K words in a month. Damn, the longest thing ever written by me has 9 200 words and it took me 5 months and 2 deadlines to write it. So I was looking at NaNoWriMo like an opportunity to get my writing skills back. And, yay, it really helped! Since I began to write in November new ideas just began to pop in my head. And I feel like I can write them down! As for my NaNo novel - 12K in a month is definitely way better then 9K in 5 months ))) With very few days off at work, several big family gatherings and heath problems which resulted in necessity for me to spend at least one hour a day in the clinic it is a wonderful result for me. Heh, maybe in five years I'll be able to write 50K in a month ;)

I'm not actually sure how much I managed this year. I haven't been brave enough to check yet, heh!
This week I started using http://750words.com/ which apparently some people use to encourage them with their NaNos.
