Looking through one forum I've just read really true words: exes are just some special group of people around you. You can't describe whom they are to you, how you are related to them. That's why I have certain problems while speaking about my ex with people who don't know everything about my last relationship - always having to make a pause before saying something like "one of my good acquaintances".
